After its acclaimed anime series Psycho-Pass, which ran for 22 episodes from 2012 to 2014, comes a new movie in 2015. The sequel, called Psycho-Pass 2, will open in theaters in Japan in January 2015. A feature film is also in the works. Fans can expect the new movie to be as dark and twisted as the original. Anime fans can watch all three seasons of the series on home video.

The film is part of the tenth anniversary celebrations and will be produced by Production I.G.’s company. It will be set in a dystopian future where the premise is based on real-life events.
PSYCHO-PASS PROVIDENCE will be a theatrical release. It will be a remake of the PSYCHO-PASS manga series. The plot will feature Akane Tsunemori and Shinya Kogami, as well as the other members of the Overseas Coordination Bureau Action Division.
