The January 2023 premiere date for the anime adaptation of the popular manga series Ayakashi Triangle has been announced, with the first teaser image now available. It is being directed by Noriaki Akitaya and will be produced by studio CONNECT. Among the cast and crew is Hideki Furukawa (who designed the characters in the Battle Girl High School anime). Moreover, the music will be composed by Rei Ishizuka and the sound will be directed by Jin Aketagawa.
After being delayed for a while, the television anime adaptation of the popular manga Ayakashi Triangle has finally been announced. The anime adaptation of the ecchi manga by Kentarou Yabuki will premiere in January 2023. The manga began serialization in 2020 and has nine tankoubon volumes. It is being serialized on Shonen Jump+, with the English version being published by VIZ Media and Shueisha.
The anime will be produced by Studio CONNECT, which also produces the hit The Blood series, Death March to Parallel World Rhapsody, and Are you the only one who loves me? The show will feature the story of a ninja named Matsuri Kazamaki and a female Ayakashi named Suzu Kanade. While the two of them are battling evil spirits, Matsuri accidentally turns into a girl in the process. After he is cursed by the King of Ayakashi, he must remain in this form for the rest of his life. The two will also have to deal with friendly ayakashi and growing romantic feelings for each other.
Despite its lack of awards, the manga has received a good number of praise. It was nominated for the Best Manga Award in October 2020 and topped other titles, such as Mashle: Magic and Muscles and Undead Bad Luck. In addition, the manga has reached 1.3 million copies in print as of July 2022.
The movie stars a ninja named Matsuri Kazamaki as a ninja who fights against malicious ayakashi spirits. He also protects his childhood friend Suzu from a powerful ayakashi named Shirogane.
